The building feels huge and impersonal, and the lifts are unreliable. We sometimes waited up to 10 minutes in a queue just to go up or down. Check-in was painfully slow, with no rapport, and the reception area was always chaotic. Nobody seemed responsible for requests, and there appeared to be no management structure. The apartment had broken furniture, missing lights, and very little cutlery or crockery. We reported these when we arrived, but nothing was fixed. The fridge didn't work. There was only one comfortable chair and no table or bathrobes. We also found it gross that the bathroom had an open bin for toilet paper. The cleaners came in at 9:30 even though we repeatedly asked them to come later. If we didn't let them in then, they never came back. Access to the unheated rooftop pool costs extra, and getting there means taking the elevator down to the ground floor lobby and back up, so you can't just pop back to your room in your swimwear. It's very inconvenient. They managed to spoil what could be one of the country's most beautiful pools with loud, sexually explicit rap music at 10 a.m. There aren't enough sunloungers, and the rules are poorly thought out. The pool on floor 6 has no sunloungers or outdoor space, and it's always full of children. Check all the reviews for Panorama/Mellia Oceanus before booking, despite the beautiful sea view, this place isn't great.

For 675k a night through Agoda in April, it was good enough. The city view from my room on the 14th floor suited me, since I didn't need a sea view. Room quality seems to depend on luck, but you may get a satisfactory or good room with a kitchenette. You also have to pay a 200k deposit for one key. The swimming pool on the 6th floor is good for children.

A nice place to spend the day and relax, with a cool rooftop pool offering 360-degree views. Entry to the huge pool costs 200k, and drinks are a bit pricey. I'd visit again.

The only reason I gave this two stars was the location. It was the worst holiday experience I've had in Vietnam in 20 years. Check-in took nearly an hour, and then I found I had to stay in a much worse room than the one I'd booked and paid for. The check-in staff weren't apologetic at all. Lifts can take up to 30 minutes. Please look for other options when visiting Nha Trang, this property will only cause stress. Very poor.
