Premier Havana Nha Trang Hotel

The only small drawback was the rooftop infinity pool. It was too cold and windy for swimming, and seemed to have a bit too much chlorine. Still, we’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to families. Our family room was spacious and very clean, and the food quality was top-notch. The service was exceptional, especially from the bellboy, who went above and beyond every day. Fresh roses in the lobby made the whole place smell amazing, and the big, beautiful tunnel straight to the beach was a unique touch.

We spent 26 days here and really enjoyed the hotel, breakfast, hospitality, nearby food choices and beach, and plenty of other things. The ocean view was stunning, like Kailua Beach in Hawai'i. Most of the staff, if not all, were extremely courteous. They even surprised me with a handsome birthday cake, so my dear wife didn’t have to go out of her way to find one. Such a thoughtful, unexpected gesture. Special, sincere thanks to the housekeeping crew. They changed our sheets and restocked bottled water, coffee, tea, toothbrushes and razors every day, and responded quickly to our requests. That’s beyond five-star service. I’d give it six stars without hesitation. We did need more towels, though, to keep the bathroom floor from flooding during showers. Hotel Havana Nha Trang, see you next year. Appreciate y’all!

We arrived around 2am, and the staff welcomed us warmly. The next day it rained all day, so they lent us umbrellas. The staff were very kind, especially Thien-the rock, the chief of concierge, who helped us a lot. The hotel is close to the night market. We’d definitely visit again on our next trip to Nah Trang!

I’ve changed my rating to 4 stars. We did appreciate the hotel surprising us with a cake in our room for my partner’s birthday. The rooms are a decent size, and the rooftop is nice, though it’s surprisingly paid even for hotel guests. I still see this as more of a 4-star place than a proper 5-star hotel. Breakfast was the biggest letdown: it was nearly the same every day, with little variety and a poor selection of sweets. There weren’t even basic things like fresh croissants. The juices tasted watered down, the coffee was average at best, and there was no proper coffee station for cappuccinos or espresso drinks, just coffee poured from a jug. The private beach setup was another weak point. With around a thousand guests and only about 8-9 sets of sunbeds, finding a spot was difficult. To reserve one, you had to get up at 7 a.m. Beach towels were often unavailable, and sometimes we waited as long as 30 minutes. We could still end up having to use paid sunbeds next door, costing around 250,000-300,000 VND. The sun also disappears behind the hotel at about 2:00 p.m., so there’s little point trying to sunbathe there until around 4:00-5:00 p.m. The elevators were a serious hassle too. Around breakfast time, the wait could reach 20 minutes despite there being several lifts. The hotel isn’t terrible, but the weak breakfast, poor beach arrangements, long elevator waits and other details below luxury standards mean it doesn’t deliver a real 5-star experience for me.
