I paid about USD40 a night, which included a buffet breakfast and even a free lunch after checkout. They also upgraded me to a top-floor room facing the road, and Ms. Voung kindly let me check out an hour late at no charge. The stay was on Dec. 30, 2025. Staff were friendly and polite, and I’d say it was worth staying here. The hotel has a contemporary look with Vietnamese style paintings. It’s fairly new, and there was still a smell from the fresh wall paint, though it wasn’t sharp or unpleasant, so I won’t say much about the overall appearance. The room was modern and made with good quality materials, from the mattress and bedding to the plumbing. Towels were clean, and the room had the necessities, including bathrobes, a bathroom floor mat, shower gel, shampoo, and a blower. I’d rate it 9.5/10. The only thing that kept it from a 10/10 was that the water pressure and heater seemed a bit weak during my stay. It’s peacefully located outside the busy city center, so it’s better for relaxing. Since it’s not very close to the center, ride-hailing apps or your own transport are more dependable. Location gets 8/10.

Jenny and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we had a request. The hotel is lovely, clean, and beautiful, and sits in a quieter part of town. If you’re staying in Phan Thiet, I highly recommend Amana.

I wouldn’t return or recommend this place. The two junior staff who came to help around 5-6am were the only bright spot, and they genuinely tried even though the problem wasn’t their fault. They deserve better management. I expected a decent break in Phan Thiet, but got a tiny, windowless room with AC that felt like a storage closet. Anyone who’s claustrophobic should look elsewhere. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent: guests a few rooms away played videos until midnight, then there was music and furniture being dragged around at 5am. I called the front desk, but staff couldn’t get those guests to answer their calls or knocks. There doesn’t seem to be any real way to deal with noise complaints at night. I’d passed the hotel plenty of times and it looked fine outside, but the exterior didn’t match what it was like inside. Big mistake staying here. Rating: 2/5.

After our four-hour trip from Ho Chi Minh City, check-in with Jenny was easy and smooth. She welcomed us warmly and shared a local guide she had made herself, with nearby places to visit, which made getting around town much easier. The hotel is fairly new and quiet. Our room was bright, roomy, and comfortable, with a soft, cozy bed, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. It was a very pleasant stay.
