The staff were nice and friendly, and the food was good, but there were far more downsides than positives. The sheets smelled like armpit sweat, and I wasn’t sure the bedding had been cleaned properly, if at all. The room also had such a bad odor that I didn’t want to be in it, let alone sleep there. There were some nice plants on the grounds, and from the room you could kind of see the pool. The back window on the bottom floor faced a space like an alley, with no view. The beds were packed so close to each other and the walls that there wasn’t room to get between a bed and the wall to reach the bed or closet. It felt tiny and cramped. The beach at this resort was pretty dirty, and the pool was smaller than it looked on the business card. Despite the friendly staff, I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The whole resort feels run down and badly needs restoration and rebuilding. Rats were running around in the garden, and the restaurant where breakfast was served was not clean at all. The linen was smudgy enough that we weren’t sure it was clean. The bathroom setup was especially awkward. An exposed air conditioner drain pipe runs out into the shower and across the floor. The shower drain is in the corner behind the toilet, so after showering the whole bathroom floor is wet, and using the toilet means getting your feet wet. Really not a great place.

The resort was quiet and close to the beach, and I liked the buffet breakfast and swimming pool, though the pool was a bit small. The furniture was old. I visited in December, and the beach wasn’t very nice: it was dirty, with lots of broken shells along the coast. You have to cross about 2 meters of broken shells to get into the sea, which hurts. The water looked more gray than blue.

The room was clean, the A/C worked well, and you can walk straight from the resort to the beach. The resort itself was okay, but breakfast wasn’t good and there wasn’t much variety. The location wasn’t strategic, far from the tourist spots and the famous seafood restaurant, boke seafood bbq. Bring cash in VND or USD, since I couldn’t find any shop that accepted credit cards.

One of my better hotels in VN. The rooms were clean and big enough for two, with a lovely pool and access to the beach, though the dirty beach isn’t the hotel’s fault. The buffet breakfast was decent, and beers were 10k dong.
