We’re back for a second year and another extended stay. This place is friendly, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful. The big pool has plenty of deck chairs, and the quiet is its best feature. It’s a real oasis, elevated and fully walled, with coconut trees and a steady breeze from the east, well away from Vietnam’s busy street life. The village, market, and kite surfing beach are only minutes away. Younger travellers get good value from the dorms, and can use the pool to relax and recharge after days on the road with their backpacks. Many guests enjoy it enough to extend their stay. The staff and management are very helpful. I’ve seen them get lost passports back to Saigon and care for a sick guest who was travelling alone. They also check bus tickets with guests to make sure the departure time and station are right, since there are several bus stations. They sell tickets through reputable local companies, which I recommend. The public road to the resort gets a lot of criticism, but once you’re past it, you won’t be disappointed.

For the price, it’s pretty good. The pool is great and, most of all, it’s clean, though the low cost does come with some drawbacks. The location isn’t great, and the bed isn’t either. The blanket was too thin with the AC on, so I was cold for the first time in Vietnam. An extra layer sorted that out. There’s no cover over the bed, which is awkward if someone switches on the lights, and there aren’t lockers. It still felt quite safe, though. The staff are nice, and I’d recommend it.

The family running this place are so friendly, and the rooms are large and very clean. We also really enjoyed the juice and coffee bar out front, and had a great stay. A couple of useful things could be improved in the shared rooms and bathrooms: toilet paper was missing about 95% of the time I was there, and the showers could use large shampoo dispensers. Having to remember your own is annoying when there’s no soap or shampoo available.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam so far. It’s a very quiet place, with a huge pool and plenty of hammocks for relaxing. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. It’s family run, and everyone working there is friendly if you make the effort to talk with them. They rent motorbikes, and although there’s no food service, the local market is an easy 800 metres away. Thanks so much, I’ll be back next time.

A kind mototaxi driver pointed me here while I was wandering around downtown looking for a hotel. When I arrived at Fairy Hill Hotel, it seemed like just the place to spend a few days enjoying Mui Ne. I stayed for a few days in February 2025, and the lady, her husband, and their daughters were all genuinely warm and friendly. We agreed on a good price for three nights. My room was large, lovely, and comfortable, and the swimming pool was clean and big. The hotel is a few kilometres from downtown, so you need a motorbike to get around. I rented a scooter there and could go wherever I wanted. I think it’s the best option for staying in Mui Ne. Thanks so much, I was very happy there. I’m Claudio from Italy.
