Hai Yen Family Resort

We stayed six nights in a second-floor room on the hillside, with two double beds and a view over the pool. It cost 350k a night. The rooms on the higher floors have great views, and the place was clean and comfortable. There are two pools, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked well. The WiFi could be better. I don't understand why the ratings are so low. The price is great. I'd choose the hillside side, which is quieter and less busy than the ocean side.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and can arrange day trips to the sand dunes and other places. We spent four nights here and really liked how cozy and nice it felt. The pool was great, from 1 m to 1.8 m deep, and the sea is just 3 m from it. There's another pool and more hotel rooms across the street, so just ask and they'll show you pictures. A few little things could be fixed, but overall it's super nice if you want somewhere easy and quiet.

I didn't take any photos, except one of me in the pool, which got in the way. The pool was really clean, and the ocean was perfect for an early morning swim, calm with just a few waves. The place was clean enough, though they could pay more attention to details like behind the bed and the bedroom ledge. It's a family-run resort with very nice people, and the price was really, really good. They have a restaurant across the street that was great for an easy breakfast before our tour.

This place is overclaimed. The room was very dirty, especially the toilet, and poorly equipped. The wallpaper and door lock were damaged, and the shower had very low water pressure. My family even found a cockroach on the floor. It felt more like a motel than a three-star hotel or resort.
