The pool and gym were both very good, and the spacious rooms have plenty of equipment. Staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast is Asian, with enough options for European tastes too, and you can order eggs cooked how you like. The TV has movies in English. The surrounding area is a mix of big developments, some still unfinished. The beach has been affected by erosion, and the promenade is missing in many spots. The hotel restaurant was just okay for dinner, though there’s a nice place down the road. Coffee came only with sugar. Laundry is available, so there was no iron, which disappointed me after traveling. The corridors are long and echo with footsteps and doors, so early risers might want earplugs.

The room was clean and roomy, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I accidentally left my headphones behind, and they quickly mailed them to my new hotel. I really appreciate that! If you can’t switch off the two spotlights, look for the switch behind the nightstands. Reception can help if you don’t find it.

The beach is across the road, but there’s no way to get down to it, so this isn’t the place for a beach sunbathing trip. The location is otherwise close to the center. Breakfast was good, and there are two pools. My daughter had a good time.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we were told to wait. We came back three hours later and they still had no idea. Then they gave us the wrong room, not what I’d booked. One room with two beds for three men, really? Go to Ocean Dune.

The staff are very friendly, and the rooms have plenty of space. Still, I wouldn’t come back. The walls are thin, and there were many local families with small children making noise in the hallways late at night and early in the morning. Western breakfast choices are limited. There’s no fresh coffee or juice, just machine drinks, and not much fresh fruit. The eggs with toast were the only thing worth mentioning. For this price, you can find better rated resorts in Mui ne.
