If you’d rather avoid the crowds, the sheltered pool area gets a lovely amount of sun and is a perfect spot to read. It’s also an excellent location for anyone heading to the beach.

It’s a modest place, with a small garden pool and a very basic upstairs room and bathroom. Everything was clean, and the laundry service was reliable. The room could use some attention to small things, like the torn net curtains, broken bulb, old toilet seat, and a few spots of paint. There’s no beach access here, but for 15k VND you can use the pool and beach at the nearby Moonlight hotel. Restaurants serving different cuisines are within walking distance, with small shops and cafes nearby too. The staff were fantastic and tried hard to meet every request, even when their English wasn’t strong. Decent basic accommodation, with wonderful service.

The family, dogs, and staff are what made this place special for us. We were greeted with smiles from arrival to departure, and they went out of their way to help with everything. We stayed seven nights and will definitely come back next year for longer. We’ll miss you, Xin Chao. Happy New Year x Xin Chao is a beautiful, peaceful little oasis tucked just metres back from the road. Shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars are all walkable. The spacious rooms have good showers, air-conditioning, storage, and a fridge. They’re arranged around a clean, well-kept central pool, a lovely place to cool off after exploring or just sit and relax.

A peaceful, quiet place with a nice pool. Clean and tidy, and good value for money.
