The staff were helpful and friendly, which I appreciated. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel feels dated. There were stains on the ceilings and carpets, and some rooms had a lingering cigarette smell. The bathrooms are roomy too, though the shower setup is poor. After only 3-4 minutes, water spills over the bathtub ledge and runs onto the bathroom floor. It seems to happen in most, if not all, of the rooms. The gym is very basic: both treadmills were out of order, and with just three wall fans and no air conditioning, it was uncomfortable to use. It's acceptable for a short stay if you care more about space and a good bed than modern finishes or facilities. There's definitely room for improvement.

I stayed during a business trip. The hotel is huge, with very spacious rooms, and the reception team was really good. Special mention to Phuong Anh, who's very good and speaks nice English too.

We had lunch in the lobby restaurant, sharing the good-sized portions among six of us. The food was good, prices were reasonable, and service was prompt and friendly. We ordered drinks too, and they arrived quickly. I didn't stay overnight. Friends had come in on a cruise ship that docked nearby and only had a short time ashore, and the hotel kindly let us sit and catch up in the lobby for most of the day. The lobby looked a little tired, but the staff more than made up for it. We also saw a fairly large wedding reception in a ballroom. Everyone seemed happy, and the wedding decorations looked quite nice.

I worked there while coming and going to Golf Hotel over 2.5 years. The Management and staff were second to none at making sure Elect Eng and I were comfortable and safe. During the six weeks when we were the only two guests because of CV19, Management made sure our rooms were clean, our washing was done, and meals were available. I'll come back for a holiday next time.
