Bebe homestay

A sweet, affordable homestay with an awesomely helpful landlady. There’s a shared kitchen, and you can rent scooters at street price, 3€/day.

I had a lovely, relaxing stay at Bebe Homestay in Phu Quoc. It’s clean and cozy, tucked into a peaceful part of Ông Lang, so it was nice to come back to after exploring. A handy surprise was that they could help arrange pizza delivery from nearby Midori Restaurant. The pizzas were delicious, especially the wood-fired ones, and ordering through the Bebe staff was easy. Getting a freshly made pizza in my room was such a treat. I’d recommend Bebe Homestay for a quiet, homey stay, and Midori’s pizza if you’re in the mood for comfort food.

Trang and her family are amazing hosts. I felt a bond with them despite the language gap, and also got to know other travelers. The bungalows are clean, spacious enough to work in, and great. The outdoor kitchen is a must. You can rent a motorbike there, and the island’s best beach is close, 30min on foot or 7mjn by bike. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

The garden outside was beautiful, and the rooms were modern, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The air conditioner worked well, and the bed was the best I had in Vietnam, softer than the usual ones there, thankfully. The family at Bebe Homestay made the place my favorite stay in Vietnam. They were incredibly friendly, spoke English very well, and could help arrange or suggest things to do. The host is also an excellent cook, and for a small extra cost she made us some amazing meals. It’s tucked away and quiet, but still close enough to do things. You can rent a scooter, which is pretty necessary on the island. I recommend it very highly.
