The views were nice and the service was good, but the sheets weren’t changed at all during my six-night stay. Breakfast choices were limited, though that was what we paid for. There were lots of insects and mosquitoes, which is pretty normal in a place surrounded by nature. Finding the property was tricky: it’s down a narrow path, and the map shows two places with the same name. The steep 300-meter approach is tough unless you’re athletic, or have a motorbike or car.

We booked two days and ended up adding another three in a row. The resort is in a convenient spot and easy to reach if you rent a bike. Staff gave very good service, and the women at reception were especially kind and helpful. Good value for the money.

The bungalows were comfortable and nice, the grounds were kept up well, and we enjoyed most of our time here. You can rent motorbikes too. Food was the weak point. The restaurant is expensive and, at best, third-rate. Every dish we ordered was badly butchered, and the breakfast buffet baguettes were so chewy we could twist them into knots. I’d stay here again, but eat elsewhere.

The setting is charming, breakfast was good, and the pool was clean. There’s even a pool table you can use for free. It’s tucked away from the tourist crowds, about a ten-minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. We had trouble with the bungalow for three. The extra bed was a very hard mattress on a wooden board, which seemed more like a bench. There was no hot water on our first night until we asked them to switch it on. I’m also not keen on outdoor bathrooms. And there was an odd mark on the wall. I’ll leave the photo for you to decide what it might be.
