The large pool in the middle was great for a swim, and the staff were helpful. I was able to rent a motorbike directly from them. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed to explore the island. Highly recommended.

The hosts were very friendly and willing to help with everything, but there were lots of ants inside the house. There was no water heater, so we only had warm water from afternoon until evening. The house wasn’t clean; we ordered a cleaning service, but it only helped a little. The hotel we stayed at before was just as dirty, so I think cleanliness may be an island-wide problem. Roosters on nearby farms made noise all night in this part of the island. If you’ve lived in a village your whole life, you might not notice, but it drove me crazy. I was glad to leave the island.

The staff are really friendly and speak reasonable English. The units are comfortable, with good beds and pillows, and there’s a range from very basic rooms to a family apartment with a kitchenette. They’re arranged around a good-sized pool in a garden setting, which I really liked. There’s a little shop at the gate and a restaurant and coffee shop about an eight-minute walk away. Taxis arrive quickly, or you can rent a motorcycle (Xe may) on site. A bigger shopping complex is about a mile away, and tours can be booked at reception too.
