The hotel is up a hill in a tucked-away spot that didn't feel nice for a holiday. I had a confirmed two-night booking, arrived at 9:50 pm after taking the ferry, and was told the place was full. The woman there didn't speak English, so we used a translation app; she went to knock on the owner's door, since the owner had gone to bed, then came back with that answer. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

The large open terrace restaurant on the top floor has a very good view over part of the An Thoi region, and motorbikes are available to rent. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean enough at reasonable rates. It feels a bit like staying in someone's home, and the place is clean, quiet, homey, with a good view. There isn't a wardrobe, there are no neighbors, and the layout seems to have been designed by the owners themselves. Thanks for the hospitality.

It's an okay choice if you're after a cheap hotel, and you can rent a motorbike straight from the owner. They're very friendly, though they don't speak English, so Google Translate is essential. Just know that it's about 2 km from everything.
