La Grotta Hotel

There was construction next door, so it got noisy in the late morning, but the hotel staff offered compensation without us asking and did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable. Great value, very helpful team, and a good location near the beach. I’d stay again. Thank you, Jacob!

Vivian made our stay at La Grotta in Phu Quoc so special. From our arrival she was welcoming, kind, and ready to help. She even helped plan a surprise birthday for my wife, arranging lovely decorations and a cake. My wife was overjoyed, and Vivian’s attention and genuine care made us feel more like friends than guests. The hotel is charming and comfortable, and the location is great. We’re grateful for the memories and can’t wait to return. If you want a place to stay with warmhearted people who really care, La Grotta, especially Vivian, is a lovely choice.

Construction next door made things a bit noisy while I was at La Grotta Hotel, though it was manageable. At check-in they told me the work hours and kindly offered a 20% discount. I know the hotel wasn’t at fault, but they handled it well. The staff were helpful whenever I needed anything, and my room was cozy. A pleasant stay at a really nice hotel.

The best part of Hotel La Grotta was the staff, especially Jacob. They were kind, professional, spoke excellent English, and arranged a refund for the two nights we had no water. Going without water for two full days was the most serious issue and unacceptable. We’d been told before arrival about the construction next door from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and every morning was indeed very noisy. We accepted it because we had no other options, and the hotel gave us a 20% discount and small vouchers. The decor is original, but the place needs better maintenance: there were cracks in the room and several things that needed fixing. Cleanliness was poor too, with dirty floors, dusty shelves, and linen and towels changed only after we specifically asked.
