The food was a highlight for us. The mix of Vietnamese and French influences was lovely, and breakfast became something we looked forward to every morning. The team’s service also stood out: thoughtful and sincere, without making a fuss, so we felt cared for. La Veranda has charm and elegance, and a real soul. Its location makes it easy to get around, while still being peaceful enough to forget the outside world. It feels less like a hotel and more like somewhere you want to return to. We left already knowing we’d come back on our next trip to Phu Quoc.

The staff made us feel like family throughout our stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery. Sam, the Guest Relations Manager, was especially attentive, kind and professional, and went out of his way to make everything feel just right. At meals, Mon, Trang and Tuyet greeted us warmly, anticipated what we needed and made each dining experience feel special. Jacques’s cooking was another highlight: every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients, balanced flavors and real creativity. We also had a deeply relaxing treatment with Trang (spa therapist), and Trieu took great care of us at the beach so we could relax and enjoy the ocean views. The whole resort felt warm and elegant, with colonial-style character, lush tropical gardens and a beautiful beachfront setting. The Vietnamese hospitality, food, spa and service all came together for an unforgettable visit. We can’t recommend La Veranda highly enough and are already dreaming about coming back.

We had a great holiday and would love to return. Mr Khoi was very helpful at check-in, especially with our question about an airticket. We arrived on Tuesday in time for a wonderful Vietnamese-themed buffet. Ms Trang Le was enthusiastic and so friendly, and Mr Chad gave us an informative local rum tasting. Breakfast was very good too. Ms Le and Ms Tuyet Nguyen were attentive, and they also helped arrange a birthday dinner. We enjoyed chatting with Chef Jacques Buys, who shared great recommendations and insights about the seafood market. Thank you.

A classy resort that still feels relaxed, with a great atmosphere and quality you can notice everywhere. It’s close to the action but remains calm. Breakfast is amazing and the staff are always ready to help. You could spend 6 or 7 nights enjoying the island and still have full days to relax on site by the pool, beach or restaurants. If you’re staying many days with kids, I’d suggest getting a bigger room. Highly recommend.
