Lagom Residence Phu Quoc

We were traveling with friends and had a wonderful vacation together. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, and a great place to relax. Henry, our assistant, was attentive and helpful, keeping everything organized. His care made the stay stress-free and much more enjoyable. We’d love to come back.

Our flight to Vietnam fell through because of disruptions in the UAE, so we couldn’t take the five nights we had planned. We contacted the hotel to request a cancellation, and although the booking was non-refundable, management understood and gave us a full refund. The team replied very quickly and was friendly and professional. Their understanding and generosity really impressed us, especially since we never made it to the hotel. We’re deeply grateful for the service, and this will be our first choice next time we travel to Vietnam. Thank you so much.

For a day on the island, Marc from Moto Nomad Phu Quoc arranged a fantastic, reliable, well-maintained scooter and suggested their self-guided North Island Adventure Tour. We followed the easy route to Ganh Dau Cape, then went inland to Rach Vem and the famous Starfish Beach. Having the bike gave us the freedom to explore Phu Quoc’s wilder northern side. It paired beautifully with the calm elegance of Andochine Resort. Its dark-wood bungalows sit privately among tropical gardens, and the main pool looks out over the ocean. It felt like a luxurious village more than a big hotel, with a peaceful, classic Vietnam atmosphere. Breakfast was exceptional, with traditional Vietnamese dishes as well as excellent Western choices. A great mix of tranquil surroundings and an adventurous ride.

The houses are great, with top furniture inside and a large private pool that’s close to full size. We use it whenever we like. The beach is clean, and the water fun there is run by nice guys at moderate prices. Breakfast is great, and the staff are friendly, speak English, and are always ready to help. They answer WhatsApp messages within seconds. We’re here on day 3 with my wife, our 2 kids, and our friends, a mother and son. I’d give the place 9 out of 10, minus 1 because the night market is probably a 10-minute walk via the beach or Novatel area. The buggy service is so good, though. You call and get your own free taxi to the main local spots and back. It’s great that we still have a week + to go. Thanks!
