Lam Bungalow Resort & Spa Phu Quoc

The gym was a wonderful surprise, fully and I mean fully equipped! We also loved the pristine pool and communal areas, where the chill music and, hopefully, blue sunny skies made it easy to lose track of time. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast, and guests could help themselves to beers, soft drinks, and spirits from the honesty bar’s full fridge. Thomas and his wife Linh have created a 5* haven at Lam Bungalows. The ensuite rooms are beautifully presented, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for a good night’s sleep. It’s around 6 mins out of town, but Thomas made scooter hire simple and took us around the local area so we could get familiar with the roads. He also shared maps and recommendations for places to go, eat, and drink, and we enjoyed them all. Friends recommended Lam Bungalows to us, and it was a great introduction to Phu Quoc. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Thomas and Linh were super hosts, taking great care of me and making me feel welcome. They were also happy to share information about activities and places around Phu Quoc. I was surprised by how good the German Bavarian breakfast and lunch they cooked for me were. The gym was my favorite spot, with all the equipment needed for a workout and top quality gear. The rooms were clean and tidy, with good soundproofing, and the pool was clean, nice, and had plenty of sunbeds. It’s a lovely place to relax and recharge. Thomas and Linh made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at Lam Bungalow Resort & Spa in Suoi May on Phu Quoc Island. Their personal attention and warm hospitality made the stay feel like being part of an extended family. The resort is secluded and peaceful, yet well placed for beaches and local attractions, with transport arranged by the hosts and the airport nearby. The bungalows are spacious, with central AC, extra-long beds, and private bathrooms stocked with quality toiletries. The design mixes contemporary touches with traditional Vietnamese aesthetics, and the resort is beautifully set among tropical gardens. Its saltwater pool is expansive and has a swim-up bar, and there’s a modern, fully equipped fitness center as well. The restaurant serves Vietnamese and traditional German (Bavarian) food. Breakfast stood out, with fresh bread rolls, cheeses and cold cuts, eggs made to order, and homemade Vietnamese soups. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, and the menu caters to different tastes. For comfort, relaxation, and cultural immersion, this resort offers a memorable stay on Phu Quoc Island.
