We booked Nice Life Hotel Phu Quoc ten days ahead, but after a long journey we arrived to find out at reception that there were no rooms for us. They just told us to contact Agoda and offered no help or solution. We were left outside late at night with our luggage, unable to find another hotel. There was no apology or effort to assist, just indifference. Taking reservations without having rooms is unacceptable. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and the place seemed completely unprofessional and irresponsible. Unfortunately, other hotels in the area appear to operate similarly, but this one was by far the worst. Don’t book here under any circumstances. If your time, money, and safety matter to you, stay away. ⭐ 0/10

I couldn’t check in over the 2026 New Year holiday after the ownership changed on December 22, 2025. I ended up having to find another hotel. Please avoid booking this hotel from 2026 onwards.

We booked two weeks ahead and went to check on behalf of our friend. They checked and said there were no rooms left. When we asked about our check-in time, they told us the hotel was closing, the staff had been fired, and they couldn’t do anything. The listing was still accepting bookings, though. They called booking a scam site and said we could stay two days while searching for somewhere else. It was Christmas season, and there was no accommodation available on the island.

Be careful with this place. I booked well in advance, but one day before my stay they told me I wasn’t welcome because I’d booked the room too cheaply. Crazy. Stay away.

The hotel has very nice fittings and a luxurious bathroom, but the breakfast was extremely poor. There seemed to be no effort put into it. Western guests could ask for a plain omelette and choose some cut baguette, with no tomato, onion, mushroom, or bacon. A few pieces of fruit and a local soup were the other options, along with coffee. The Vietnamese management should consider what tourists like. My wife is Vietnamese and she was the first one to complain about how poor the breakfast was.
