Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc

The villas are stylish, clean, and well equipped, with everything from a dishwasher to a washing machine and clothes rack. We especially liked having a shaded outdoor area beside the pool. The resort has plenty to keep children and adults busy, including pickleball, a well-equipped gym, a hamster-wheel float in the small but adequate leisure pool, and daily activities such as pizza making and deer racing. Staff usually responded to requests within a few minutes, whether we needed water for the dispenser, a buggy, or room service. We also liked the made-to-order drinks at breakfast. We enjoyed a comfortable stay, but there are some clear areas to improve. The public toilets by reception were dirty and disorganized the entire time we were there. The buffet breakfast had very limited choices, and the same options were served every single day. We ate the Vietnamese flavours buffet dinner one night, which cost 950,000 VND per person and was the worst buffet and biggest ripoff of our 10-day trip. There was hardly anything worth eating beyond lettuce and broccoli. At Movenpick, we paid 900,000 VND and had fresh fish, prawns, juicy crab, clams, and barbecued squid skewers. The Sailing Club tries hard to be a five-star, all-inclusive, family-friendly resort like you'd find in Hawaii, but we won't be rushing back.

The calm, welcoming atmosphere was clear as soon as we arrived. Sailing Club Resort Phu Quoc has beautiful tropical gardens and stylish villas, and the attention to detail around the property really stood out. The whole team worked hard to make us feel comfortable and cared for. It was one of the best resort stays we've had.

The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and the resort was beautiful, with excellent hygiene standards and well-kept facilities. The villa had all the space and luxury we needed for a high-end family holiday, and it was stunning. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone after a higher-end beach break. There was an air conditioning problem on our first night, and we couldn't sleep. It was fixed quickly the next morning, but nobody apologized or offered compensation. Service was attentive, though at times it bordered on aggressive. There were also some odd rules: we could use bikes, but as a family of three we were only allowed two, so one of us had to go without. They could perhaps have taken a deposit for a third bike.
