Sunset Sanato Resort & Villas

The beach was clean and pleasant, and staying at the hotel included access to it, which was a nice perk. The villas also looked brand new. I was here for five nights in December and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and very helpful with anything we asked for. I’d recommend the resort and can see myself coming back.

Tina from the reception team helped us with everything, including arranging trips and booking tickets. She even took care of a private request we had. We loved staying here. The villas are amazing and really big, and the kids loved having their own private pool so much they didn’t want to go out. It was worth every penny, and I definitely recommend it.

We visited in Nov 2025, expecting a pleasant place to sunbathe and have a few drinks based on the reviews. The area was deserted, there was rubbish on the beach, and there were only a few sun loungers for a hotel of this size. We first tried to enter the beach from Sunset Sanato and were told we had to pay. After we found a free entrance, a security guard rudely said we couldn’t go in. We asked if we could walk through to the other side of the beach and were allowed, but then a hotel guard followed us and shouted when we paused in the shade for a few seconds to check Google Maps. We felt pressured, and the guards seemed completely unnecessary with the hotel so empty. Anyone thinking of staying should know it felt like a ghost town with unfriendly staff.

Mr Kate was a fantastic host and gave us top notch service. He helped make our stay comfortable from check-in through sorting out a motorbike rental. See you next year!
