The Palmy Luxury Beach Phu Quoc

Don’t book here. The hotel isn’t properly maintained, and the bathroom cleaning was poor. The tub looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Dirty water came out, so we complained and went out for activities, expecting it might be cleaned while we were away. When we got back, nothing had changed, and apparently no one had even checked.

I paid 2,250,000 VND per night for three nights, but the stay fell short of even basic standards. The room was dirty, with lots of ants in the bathroom, and the facilities felt outdated and neglected. Breakfast was served in a dirty area, and the food was cold and poor quality. Staff were unprofessional and unhelpful throughout. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The place shown in all the photos doesn’t seem to be this hotel. Plamy appears to have different versions.

I left early and felt like I’d escaped a prison sentence. Between the thin walls, screaming children, and a dog barking like it was in a horror movie, I barely slept. The room smelled of damp socks and regret. Its bed was harder than the floor, and the floor had strange stains I hoped weren’t alive. The staff were as welcoming as a broken vending machine. When I asked for fresh towels, they looked at me like I’d insulted their ancestors. There was also “no water after 8 p.m.” What kind of hotel does that? It felt like camping without the charm or fresh air. Breakfast was cold coffee, stale bread, and scrambled eggs like plastic. If culinary nightmares are your thing, have at it. Save yourself the misery. This place is a poorly run detention center, and I wouldn’t stay again even if I were paid.
