TS Beach House

The best part of staying at TS Beach House was how quiet the beachfront felt, especially at sunset. I could sit by the water with a pizza delivered from Midori Restaurant, just a short ride away, and enjoy the sea breeze. It was some of the best pizza I’ve had in Vietnam. My room was clean, nicely decorated, and had the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The hosts were kind and helpful, too. Mornings with coffee beside the ocean were lovely. I’d happily come back to this peaceful spot in Phú Quốc.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The setting is relaxing, and the sunsets are beautiful. It isn’t five-star luxury, though the prices aren’t at that level either.

I booked TS Beach House for three nights, but when I arrived, the owner, Mr. Trung Nguyen Van, moved me to another of his properties on the same street. It was in such bad shape that I refused to stay there. The small beach and seawater were very dirty, and I felt the neighborhood was terribly unsafe. There were security bars on the front gate and around the building, while none of the door locks worked. Rain had also left a leak in the bathroom roof. The owner said I’d get a full refund, but Agoda later told me he wasn’t going to refund my money. Be careful renting from this person, and take care in the neighborhood.

Nice room, fully furnished, with an ocean view. It could use a deep clean, and getting around is a little awkward without a motorbike.
