The breakfast restaurant had a spectacular sea view, though the food was only okay and the menu didn't really change. I found the price good, and my Junior Suites Beachfront room was clean with a great ocean view. You can't go straight from that room to the beach because it's beside a small cliff, so you have to head back to the pool and go down from there. The roof that earlier reviews mentioned had been replaced with a regular roof by the time I visited.

They're renovating the whole complex, including all the bungalows. The one I stayed in was in perfect condition, with a gorgeous ocean view. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I'd almost keep this place to myself, but you should know about it too.

It's quiet and relaxing here, with rooms spaced apart enough to feel private and well soundproofed. The private beach is beautiful, open, and airy, and the staff are friendly and always ready to help. Food was okay, though there aren't many options yet. The resort is a fair drive from the city center, so going out to eat or explore takes time. I think it's better suited to a relaxing stay.

I wouldn't plan to return or be keen to recommend this resort. I stayed for two days, and while nothing particularly bad happened overall, there are things to improve if it wants to meet the four-star standard it promotes. The beachfront bungalow had a nice feel, the bed was comfortable, the pool was great, and most of the staff were friendly. The surroundings were beautiful too, with a large Buddha pagoda about 100 meters away and Ky Co beach a 15-minute drive away. But a couple of lizards were living in the bungalow roof, and their droppings made things feel unhygienic. My husband had to clean them up several times, including from the bed, which was annoying. The only restaurant was disappointing: prices were high, and it was difficult to find something to eat with a dietary restriction or allergy because the chef didn't seem willing to make adjustments. The resort also looked a bit run-down, with missing paint, broken signage, and stains on a restaurant wall that weren't pleasant to look at while eating.
