Nha Muoi Homestay

The beach, a hidden gem, is just a one-minute walk away, and Nha Muoi homestay sits right on Quy Nhon's famous food street. I had a wonderful stay in the dorm. The beds were really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here in Quy Nhon if you're looking for a dorm room!

The terrace was a nice extra, with cute tire swings and somewhere to dry clothes. We had a comfortable stay and everything else was fine, though the room walls and bedsheets felt a bit old and worn. The homestay is a few steps from the beach, right on a lively food street. If you arrive before check-in, the owner may charge a small fee to let you in early. There’s a dried fish shop on the ground floor, so the building may smell fishy at certain times of day. The AC in your room will clear the smell.

The location is the one good thing here. I had a terrible stay and would never return, even if I were paid to. I don’t know where the photos came from, but the place looks different in reality. There’s a shop downstairs selling fishy stuff, so you sleep right above it and may get the fish smell in your room. I hated that. Mosquitoes were everywhere, and the bunk beds were horrible. Most guests were Vietnamese people getting up for work in the morning. They came into the room, talked loudly, watched social media videos late into the night without headphones, and slammed doors. No one said hello or even looked at me. In the evening the street is closed and a street market starts, adding more noise to the room. If mosquitoes, fish smells, noise, and unfriendly, selfish roommates are your thing, this is the place for you. Otherwise, pay a little more for at least a decent night's sleep.

Nice place, and the owner was good too.
