Dong Hai Hotel Rach Gia

I had a great 4-night stay. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, and the location is strategic and convenient around Rach Gia. Breakfast and coffee were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A pleasant, satisfying stay.

The bed was comfortable, and the Deluxe room was roomy with a balcony. Breakfast, though, was very basic. On the second and third days, there was a strong smell coming from the bathroom. We told the hotel, but the staff couldn't sort it out. Then on our last day we found ants in the bed. The hotel is fairly new, but it really needs a deep clean.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had a cozy feel. It was a bit cramped for two, though, and the facilities seemed worn down, with dirt, stains, and some minor damage. The hotel is quiet at night, but a little away from the city center, about a 10-15 minute drive. Breakfast comes with coffee. I wouldn't choose the noodles because the pork tasted as if it had been frozen too long. Fried eggs and bread felt like the safer choice.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was good. The ferry is only an eight-minute walk from the entrance. Still, I found the rules strange and overly pushy. It felt as if guests were treated like a source of cash instead of being valued. Rach Gia has plenty of hotels, so people can choose.
