I meant to stay two nights and ended up staying five because I couldn’t get enough of the beautiful view from my window. It’s a lovely place to stop and take it all in. The owner is warm, friendly and very responsive, and clearly cares about her guests. She went above and beyond to help everyone feel welcome and comfortable. As a solo traveler, one of my favorite memories was sharing dinner with a wonderful international group. The host told us fascinating things about Black Hmong traditions, including how people meet and form relationships. It was a really interesting and beautiful cultural experience. For the views and heartfelt hospitality, I can’t recommend this place enough.

The bungalow was quiet and clean, and the view was incredible. We’d first booked a room in the main building, but changed once we saw the bungalow. Watching the valley at sunrise was lovely, and the sunsets were amazing too. We also loved having dinner with the other guests. You can help prepare food, and what they made was delicious. We ate there both nights, as did many of the other travelers. The host is personable and so nice, always around for a chat or recommendations. She took us around town, helped book a batik workshop, drove us there and pointed out things on the walk back. Working with locals to make a unique gift was an amazing experience. We’d have stayed a few more nights if we hadn’t already made plans in other towns. It’s close enough to Sapa for a quick ride into town, but far enough out to be peaceful. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great local experience and a wonderful host.

The views are spectacular. Since the property sits higher up in the village, you get a wide panorama that’s hard to find elsewhere. I liked the stay so much that I extended my visit. The bungalow matched the photos, and was clean, cozy and very comfortable. The lovely young couple hosting made me feel welcome right away and were attentive throughout. Their hospitality felt genuine and heartfelt. I’d absolutely make time for dinner there. Each evening the food was different, freshly made, and among the best meals I had in Sapa and nearby. It’s homemade with ingredients from their own garden. Breakfast is served in a beautiful spot with amazing views, a great way to start the day. Special thanks to Sue for her kindness and dedication to making guests’ stays unforgettable.

We arrived at 5am on the night bus, and being allowed to check in early and sleep was much appreciated. The bungalows are beautiful, clean, and have a comfortable bed with an incredible view of the rice paddies. We really enjoyed the family breakfasts and dinners, and the red dao tour with herbal bath was a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend staying here! One thing to know: the cheaper booking.com option is a room in the family home with a shared bathroom, not the advertised bungalow. We were offered an upgrade to the bungalow for double the price, and felt it was worth it.

WOW, one of the best places to stay in Sapa, and I wouldn’t miss it. The room was spacious and clean with an amazing view. Dinner with the family and group was great, with delicious local food and a lovely experience. The staff were fantastic.
