We paid less by booking directly with the hotel than through the other booking app. The room was clean and spacious, with a view of the Chateau.

The room was okay, but it was dirty. The mirror, tap, and shower all looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Noise was another problem: people were yelling in the hotel again at 5:00, and earlier there was karaoke blaring until 22:00, followed by more shouting until 23:00. Check-in didn’t feel very friendly either. The lobby looked shabby and unprofessional.

We found bathroom water covering the floor to a depth of under half a centimeter. The hotel runs a minibus from Hanoi, but the driver drives dangerously. As far as I know, the hotel doesn’t serve food, so breakfast means braving the street for pho.

A budget hotel that’s good value, with everything clean and a comfortable bed. The front desk was helpful, and they can arrange motorbike rentals. It’s close to downtown, the park, and the market.

For a budget stay, the service is good and the price feels fair. The owner and staff were really, really nice. I’d recommend this place.
