The owner speaks English and was so kind, helping us with everything, even calling a taxi. I loved how peaceful and lush the place felt, both during the day and at night. The homestay is stunning, with a castle view and beautiful scenery. The rooms have all the basic amenities, and there are several room types to choose from. The hotpot was delicious, and the price was really good.

The homestay has a lovely setting and location, but our stay was really frustrating. My friend and I rented two rooms. One had running water and the other didn’t, and one of them smelled unpleasant. I also found the manager rather unfriendly and not very hospitable, which made the experience uncomfortable. Before check-in, I clearly asked whether we could rent motorbikes and said I wanted to arrange them in advance. I asked them to let me know if none were available so I could find another place. But once we arrived and asked again, the manager said there weren’t any, which wrecked our plans. I got a “yes” to everything I asked, but the lack of enthusiasm continued throughout our stay.
