Bcons Hotel Binh Duong

Our room had no window, which was the one downside. The bed was very comfy, the room was clean, and the ensuite was good. The pool was a nice place to cool off after a hot day, and they made us feel very welcome.

The staff were friendly and courteous throughout our three-day business stay at Bcons Binh Duong Hotel. When I reported that the fridge was broken, they replaced it straight away. The rooms, though, felt worn, cheap and dirty, even though the outside and lobby make a good impression. The hotel clearly needs to invest in them. We had to pay in advance on arrival, plus a 300 000 Dong minibar deposit that was supposed to be returned 15 days after checkout. That made no sense to us, and after we complained on departure day, the charge was cancelled. There was shower gel and shampoo only on the day we arrived. They refilled them right away after we raised it, but still. There was no room safe, and we hadn't booked breakfast. This did not feel like a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is a bit out from the city, which makes it quiet, and the buffet breakfast was just enough for this type of place. But the room AC was very small and couldn't cool the room properly. The food price list in the room didn't match what we were charged when the food arrived, because they used the higher restaurant prices. Reception staff barely spoke or understood English. They couldn't work the printer when I needed some documents printed, so I had to set it up for them to print my PDF. Even getting my keycard extended for a few hours took three receptionists almost 20 minutes.

The price was good for the quality in Binh Duong, and the location was excellent. There’s a restaurant, pool and WiFi, and the staff are friendly. I’d highly recommend it. They’re also planning a spa and rooftop leisure area for soon.
