The owners of Lae are the real local kind, with such loving spirits. If Phu Yen is a place to go, they’re a soul worth meeting. I keep coming back to Phu Yen mostly because I miss the adventures they took me on and all the good food they recommended. They welcome every guest in a homey way and share what they know about this peaceful city. The rooms are clean, with plenty of space for green too, or should I say planty? haha. I’ve got nothing to complain about. Well, maybe one thing: they make your trip feel too short, and you leave craving more. Lazing on their sofas in the rooftop garden with a book has been my favorite moment at the hostel. Xxoo

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I found the mixed dorm bed area quite clean. The restroom could use more frequent cleaning, though. I’d book this hostel again the next time I’m in Tuy Hoa.

The layout was awful, and the lighting only reached parts of the room. There were steps that nearly made me trip and fall. When I arrived, the door and window were wide open and the bed was covered in drain flies. This was the worst place I’ve stayed.

The fourth-floor lounge is a nice place to hang out, and there’s parking on the lower ground floor. The hostel feels modern and was very clean. It might be more social if more travelers came through this town.
