Dragon Hostel

The host was really friendly, and I had a good stay. There's a free pool table, plus drinks for sale at reasonable prices. The sheets could have been cleaner.

The room felt cozy, with a wooden table and chairs by the window, a big TV, a closet, and most of what I needed in the not very large space. I liked the textile floor covering because it kept my feet warm and the floor clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and it seemed like there was a nylon layer underneath the white sheet. I would've given it a 10 across the board if the bathroom light hadn't been broken. Some drinks and snacks in the fridge would also have been nice.

The private room was clean and homey, and worked well for two people. There are lots of places for both traditional and Western food nearby, and the beach is close too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and most spoke English. The hostel could be tidier, with random things left around, but it wasn't a big deal since you're probably not spending your whole trip there.

I had the room to myself. The bed was comfortable, though dusty, like it hadn't been used in a long time. The bathroom smelled a bit and had no hot water, but there was a hair dryer. At 114k for arriving late at night, it was acceptable.
