I canceled through Agoda Canada right after checking in. The place was unbearable, and I wasn't going to spend my vacation, money, or peace of mind there. If you care about your trip, stay away. The staff were rude, careless, and seemed untrained from the start. The entrance has steep stairs, but there was no luggage help or cart. When I asked, the front desk said carrying bags wasn't their duty, and security refused too. I asked for a manager and was told there was only an “owner.” I spoke with the owner, but nothing got resolved, and it seemed this had happened before. The staff showed no respect for guests or interest in improving service. I booked through Agoda Canada and had read other reviews. To the owner, please don't respond with the same copy-paste apology about the experience not meeting expectations. The replies I saw were meaningless and didn't show an understanding of the complaints. It seems there's no plan to improve or replace the poor staff, especially at the front desk and security, who were the worst.

A convenient place to stay, with walkers bar nearby for Texas Bbq.

The room matched the booking app listing, though the balcony was so tiny you could barely stand on it. What made us leave was the receptionist: her English was very poor and she was rude and disrespectful. We had booked a twin room for two and asked for another chair, but she said we could both use the one chair and that they had no more. I offered to pay extra, but she ignored me and kept staring at the computer. I canceled immediately and moved to a cheaper hotel on the beach.

Good price for a nice hotel, and there's plenty you can reach on foot.
