Moonlight Homestay Vung Tau

I walked all the way across town to find it shut, even though Google said it was open. What a shame.

I’m leaving this review in the hope the place can improve, because my stay at Moonlight Ba Cu was really bad. We booked room 303, the highest one, and it was dusty as if it hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. The coat rack in particular was covered in dust. That evening, after we’d gone out and come back, the circuit breaker tripped three times while we were in the room. My friend went downstairs to ask the housekeeper after the first time, but she was busy and didn’t come up to help. After the third trip, I called the hotline. They helped us move rooms, but nobody explained why it kept happening, and there was no apology. I don’t know whether it was foul play or something spiritual. The room we moved to was noisy, with no soundproofing. We could hear the noise until 1 a.m.

The view is beautiful, and the location is convenient. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the host was friendly. I’d recommend booking a room at Moonlight!

The room was just what I expected: pretty, cozy, and especially clean, with a cinnamon essential oil fragrance. Ba Cu street is right beside some rooms, though, and all the cars can make it a bit noisy at times. Replacing the glass door system would make a big difference. The location is great, with the beach and dining streets just a short walk away.
