The mattresses are a plus, new rubber ones rather than springs, and the hostess and staff are friendly and helpful. Still, the place doesn’t feel set up for a comfortable stay. It’s basically just rooms packed in wherever they can fit them. I felt bad asking, but it took 15 minutes for someone to go home and get a knife to lend me. They don’t provide shampoo or soap, either. The hotel is in a crowded alley where cabs struggle to maneuver, with nowhere nearby to sit for a beer or coffee. It seems suited only to locals wanting a cheap bed and not much relaxation.

The staff were great, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. It’s also close to the beach and nightlife.

For this price range, this is the best hotel I’ve found. The room was clean and well organized, the service was good, and it’s a five-minute walk to the beach. There’s no parking fee.

They’re good people and will help if you need anything, just ask. They’d like to be your friend, too. Good place, good price.
