We came with friends and family, and later realized we’d left our room key upstairs. There was an extra card at the counter, so I thought someone could just help us open the door. We knew the sign said there’d be a charge for a lost key and were willing to pay, but instead the staff complained and made a fuss. The owner started yelling at my family. A few hours later, we complained to the owner’s wife about the service, and apparently that set him off. He stormed up to our room and argued with us, making a scene. When we went downstairs to return the room because we didn’t want to stay, they cursed at me and my family. You can ask the hotel across the street. We wouldn’t recommend this place.

Since this was a return visit, the drop in quality was especially disappointing. The owners’ attitude was the worst part. The rooms were old, smelled bad and had run-down facilities. We stayed two days but weren’t given even one bottle of water. Basic things like a hairdryer were missing. They didn’t change the towels or clean the room during our stay unless we reminded them, and they were rude when we asked for fresh towels. They also told us the check-out time right away, as if they were trying to get us out. At 600k a day, the price wasn’t high, but it still didn’t feel worth it after Tet.

The room smelled bad when I arrived. The hotel was old, there was no hairdryer, and the owner’s attitude toward guests was unpleasant.

The couple running the hotel seem to be new owners, and they’re lovely and friendly. The rooms were clean, the price seemed more reasonable than average, and I was very satisfied.
