Sevensea Vung Tu

We slept well, apart from the usual rooster wake-up call. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. We wanted somewhere affordable and clean near the main beach, and this was perfect for us. Great value. We've marked it on our map and will come back.

We were very disappointed, especially as a family of six, because the final cost was so high. We had agreed on a weekend rate that was already twice the normal price, but the owner raised it without warning to more than triple that agreed amount because of a music festival. We ended up paying 1.6 million dong for one room instead of the 400 thousand dong we'd agreed on. The reception area was messy, and the place was noisy, far down an alley and far from the beach. The toilet was tiny, and after a shower the whole room was wet. There was no complimentary water, tea, or coffee, no cup or face towel, and not even a toilet paper holder, despite the price being like a three-star hotel. I also heard from another guest that they paid 2.5mil for a night on the rooftop with just a mattress and mosquito net. The owner didn't seem serious. Avoid at all cost!

The owner was super friendly, and we could check in early. There's an elevator, and the room was clean. The toilet was too small, though, and water splashed all over the sink when you showered. The place is near both the city center and the beach.

The host was really kind and helpful, and the hotel was lovely and clean. The location was a little confusing, and some of the things there seemed a bit old.
