Vias Hotel Vung Tau

The staff are what impressed me most. They were always friendly and smiling, and showed real care and dedication. Special thanks to Tai, the breakfast team manager, and his staff Minh, as well as Phương, Vi, Thơ, Hà from Housekeeping, Yến and Lâm at Reception, and Anh (Ivy of Reservations). They helped make my stay comfortable and happy. This is my second time here, and I’m currently enjoying a wonderful 3-week stay at Vias Hotel Vung Tau. The location is excellent, with a spacious suite, a beautiful beachfront view, and a rooftop area. The bed is very comfortable and I sleep well. Breakfast is excellent too, with lots of high-quality choices. I highly recommend the hotel and would be happy to return on my next visit.

We had a great time here with friends. The hotel was comfortable and accommodating, with a beautiful ocean view and easy access to the beach. They provided towels and a free breakfast with lots of options: pancakes, stir fry, salad, rice, eggs made to order, sausage, bacon, egg rolls, and more. The room had plenty of amenities, including combs, water, a shower cap, shampoo, lotion, and soap. Bottled water was replenished daily, and the rooftop pool was awesome.

The service felt five-star, and the balcony was very nice. The room also had a mini fridge and safe, though only an electric kettle and instant coffee, with no coffee maker. We booked a grand deluxe ocean-view room at this 5-star hotel, but the room itself didn’t feel five-star. The huge tub made getting in and out of the shower a safety hazard, with no handle to help you climb out of the tall, wide tub. Good luck avoiding a bad fall. There was also noticeable orange mildew built up in the bathroom, so it didn’t feel completely clean. The robes were nice, but the slippers were reused flip flops.

Breakfast was very good and varied, the gym was surprisingly large and well equipped, and the infinity pool had a great view and lively atmosphere. The glass there was extremely dirty, though. Our family of 7 booked 3 Executive Suite sea-view rooms. The hotel looks nice overall, but the cleanliness was the biggest problem and housekeeping was unacceptable. Thick dust covered the ventilation holes, the bathroom had mold and a strong sewage smell, and the bathtub was full of sand when we checked in. It also had rust, and the drain button was broken so it wouldn’t hold water. The tub stayed dirty throughout our 3-day stay. The hotel really needs to improve housekeeping. The poor cleanliness completely ruined the experience.
