Vihomes Villa

The photos make the villa look nice, but the actual cleanliness was awful. The beds, kitchen, and bathrooms were filthy. The owner has his wife clean the large property by herself, and it shows. I don't think they wash or replace all the blankets and pillowcases between guests. There were no bed sheets, and the mattress covers were used as blankets, so we had to share blankets that hadn't been washed after previous guests. The beds were extremely hard. We managed one night, then left the next morning. We had booked three nights starting New Year's Eve. They told me the villa hadn't been occupied for the previous three days and was in top condition, which was nowhere near the truth. When we spoke to the manager and owner about it, they were rude and defensive and wouldn't even consider reimbursing us so we could rent somewhere else. They cut corners wherever they can. I've traveled to many places across Vietnam, from north to south, and rarely leave reviews, but I feel strongly that guests should know what happened. I hope the authorities monitor and regulate these rental villas.
