Sanctuary Residential Resort Community

The pool was the best, kept clean every day and just the right size and depth. We had incredible December weather, and I especially loved taking morning walks on the private beach. Our family of five stayed five nights in Unit 90, while my in-laws stayed in 91. It was a peaceful, restorative break from the daily grind and good value. We liked staying inside the private gated property, and the concierge was exceptional. They brought fresh Pasta Alfredo, a juicy burger, and Caphe Sua Da right to our door. When we wanted to go out, they gave us rides to anywhere we asked, including the market for supplies and the local liquor store. There’s walkable seafood, local coffee, Pho Bo, Bun Rieu, Bun Bo Hue, an ice cream shop, and modest local shopping within a Grab ride away. Grab doesn’t currently deliver food here. Security felt sufficient, with guards at the entrances and private beach. The staff were incredibly kind and considerate. Be generous with tips and you’ll be rewarded with grateful, enthusiastic service. You can tell the host put a lot of thought into the place. Everything worked, including the thermostats in all three rooms, washer and dryer, and plumbing. Soap, detergent, toilet paper, plenty of towels, clean bedding, bar seating at the kitchen counter, a large dining table, well placed wall outlets, and a comfortable couch were all provided. The shower pressure was great, with a good sized shower head and both a walk-in and bath option. I took more showers than usual because I enjoyed them so much. We travel with our own loofah and waterpik, and adding those familiar comforts made the place feel like home away from home. We rented a van for a visit to Vung Tau. I can see the appeal, but it was too busy and crowded for me. It was a nice day trip, though I felt the outing took time away from Sanctuary. Sanctuary is a 10 out of 10 for me.
