The sea views were lovely, and the room felt fresh and new. The staff were nice, too. Breakfast was the letdown: just basic, cheap toast and a couple of pieces of fruit. That was it, and people seemed puzzled about why only bread was being served. For a resort, I expected more. WiFi was decent, though nothing special. It’s a bit out of town, so expect a decent walk or bring a car.

We’ve always had a positive experience at The Beachfront, and the price feels fair. Since 2015, I’ve brought the St John’s College Hamilton (NZ) Scuba Club to Santo every other year to dive the SS President Coolidge, Million Dollar Point, SS Tucker, and nearby reefs, and we’ve stayed here each time. The staff are friendly, provide excellent service, and try to help whenever asked. The grounds are well kept, the pool is beautiful and clean, and there’s plenty of space. It’s about 1.6 km from Luganville’s main street, an easy walk. There are options for different kinds of stays, from a large group at Starfish Lodge to families or couples. My parents stayed in a bungalow, which was clean and spacious, while our yacht was anchored out front for several days. We ate some good meals there, too. Hina was especially lovely and helped us with everything from laundry and refilling gas cannisters to sharing local knowledge. We really appreciated it. The resort is wonderful, and the people are so friendly and helpful.

There aren’t many services here for yachties, so this cruiser friendly resort is a good find for things like laundry and rubbish. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the restaurant was reasonable. Staff seemed a bit disinterested, which was a shame. The place has the potential to be really amazing.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a lovely sea breeze and a view of the water. Stuart, the manager, was incredibly kind when we ran into trouble with Air Vannuatu and lost a phone. He went out of his way to help us. Thank you so much.
