The facilities were homely and well kept, but the service felt impersonal, with no warm welcome and very little human interaction. Breakfast didn’t have much variety. I also had an unpleasant encounter with five large dogs on the property, even though I’d told them I’m very afraid of wolves of any kind. Afterward, nobody apologized; one of the innkeepers just made a snarky remark. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had a lovely stay. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms well appointed, and the staff were kind and accommodating. I also enjoyed spending time with Josephine and Pierre, the two sweet dogs on the property.

The room was very nice and well equipped, and there were provisions for loadshedding. The setting was beautiful, with lush gardens, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was very peaceful and quiet, and I had a wonderful stay.
