Dreams Guest Inn Raceview (Adults Only)

The bathroom was appalling when I got up to shower at 6 a.m., and the whole place felt unready to be an inn or accommodation. Hygiene was terrible. The bedding looked unchanged from the previous five clients, so I covered the pillows with a blanket before lying down. The curtains didn’t cover the window, so outside light came in, and I had to use a bedsheet to block it. I slept under my own small blanket and at one point thought bed bugs were crawling on me. I rate this place a big fat zero.

The area felt safe, and they did look after our bags in a separate room. Still, if you’re staying several days, expect to be out during the daytime. They won’t let you leave your luggage in your room because they rent the rooms to other clients during the day.

On Friday, 16 September 2022, my boyfriend and I were relaxing at the guest house when there was a knock at the door. When we opened it, we were robbed at gunpoint and they took our money and phones. It looked like it could have been an inside job. I honestly don’t recommend anyone go there.

The bed was sloppily made, and the linen wasn’t up to standard. The showers are shared.
