There wasn’t any entertainment, which I mentioned to the GM. Some music or a Friday event, maybe even a music festival, would be good. She was lovely to talk to. The rest of the weekend was beautiful: the receptionist was great, the staff were friendly and ready to help, and my room smelled amazing when I opened the door. It was close to number one, with a huge, comfortable bed and a lovely view of the clean pool from the window. I’d give it four stars.

We’re visiting from Australia and cycling across SA, and the manager, Hazel, made us feel very welcome. She let us check in early, which we appreciated, and even swapped a pillow for one that was extra soft. Hazel also gave us restaurant tips and couldn’t have done more for us. The hotel is close to the highway but quiet, in a safe commercial area with good restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms are large, with good aircon and security, and we had secure parking for our bicycles. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

It’s quiet and relaxing, with a good atmosphere, and the hotel met my expectations. Breakfast could offer more for people on diets and those who don’t eat pork or beef. I’d suggest adding rye bread and honey.

We spent two nights at the Hampshire Hotel over Easter weekend with our 9-year-old and 6-month-old, and it was an easy, enjoyable family break. The staff were attentive with the baby, welcoming even with the little ones around, and our eldest had a great time. It felt both lively and peaceful. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, plentiful, and had an impressive range, with a relaxed setup that worked well while we managed the baby. Afternoons by the pool were lovely too, with well-made cocktails for us and sunshine for the kids. We enjoyed drinks at the bar in the evenings as well. Hampshire Hotel is a gem for families, and we left refreshed, already thinking about coming back.

The staff made us feel so welcome when my husband, kids, and I celebrated the twins’ birthday there. They went above and beyond and treated the kids like royalty. Amazing service, and I’d highly recommend it for family celebrations. Keep it up, Team! 🎉 #5Stars
