Nicola made us feel at home at the White House and couldn’t do enough to help. During load shedding in particular, she made us toast and a flask of hot water for coffee. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Her restaurant suggestion, Mez Karoo Kitchen, was perfect, with fabulous food and staff. Thank you, Nicola.

Even though we stayed only one night, Nicola’s warm hospitality made us feel like part of the family. She’s a perfect host, and her little oasis is wonderfully relaxing. The homemade breakfast was outstanding, especially the poached eggs, good enough to put many restaurants to shame. I’d highly recommend this precious B&B. Anyone thinking of starting one could visit and learn from Nicola. Just great.

Nicola knows her business and arranged a perfect dinner for us at a local restaurant. The little pool was a welcome break from the Karoo heat, and our large, beautifully decorated room was just right for a relaxing stay. Extraordinary hospitality in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

Our room was clean and had a comfortable big bed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Nicole at The Whitehouse. Breakfast was delicious, with everything lovingly homemade. We’ll definitely recommend this B&B to travellers from near and far.

Yvonne and Anna are super, and they leave you to enjoy the farm. It’s a working farm, so you’ll hear farm sounds, which I liked. A tranquil, private place in a beautiful setting. I love it and will go back soon.
