I got carsick late on 1 Jan and went to the 24hr hospital for nausea tabs. The lady at reception gave me some for free. I loved the people in the hood, and even the truckers are friendly. They hoot when they see you on the side of the road.

It was a very peaceful stay, and Annelene the owner and the staff were wonderfully hospitable. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area, and recommend Ons Huisie to anyone looking for accommodation in Beaufort West.

Being welcomed with a real rose, not a plastic one, in the Karoo was remarkable. Thank you for making our stay special. I’d recommend you any time.

Annelene the owner was very accommodating, and my room was immaculate when I arrived. This is my new favourite B&B when I’m in the area.

We felt at home right away thanks to Annelene’s warm welcome. Her artistic eye and attention to detail made this a lovely surprise. The neighbourhood was quiet, and we couldn’t hear the N1 traffic at all. We’ll surely return to this oasis.
