The route through the back gate was in really rough shape, though the location itself was lovely. Inside, our room was spotless and roomy. The service was great from the moment we booked, and Bella was such a sweetheart. Our car trouble made us late, but she waited for us.

It’s a nice place, but the air conditioning was a major problem. When I contacted the owner, the only reply came by text: “I can’t do anything. If you’re unhappy, just ask Booking.com for a refund.”

The gravel route is no joke. It took about an hour driving slowly, and I even got a puncture. We really should have been told about that road in advance. Wi-Fi would have been a welcome addition too. The place itself is beautiful, looks like the pictures, and has a lovely view. We didn’t get much help or a welcome from the lady there; other guests greeted us and had to point out where the pool was.

It’s a really peaceful, quiet spot, but that gravel road is a problem. Bring everything you’ll need with you before heading out there.

We had a nice weekend in a lovely place, and it was a good choice for some peace and quiet. The trouble was finding it: there were no signs inside the game reserve, and we spent about two hours driving around lost after entering through the gate. Also, the rooms don’t have Wi-Fi, so having to go outside to get connected was a real inconvenience.
