We had a good stay, and the host gave us a warm welcome at reception. The room was nicely presented, and the outdoor seating was a pleasant place to sit with a few drinks in the evening. Three big, friendly dogs came over to say hello now and then. I did mention that the bathroom mat smelled, so we put it outside, and that the sliding bathroom door was hard to shut.

We only stayed the one night, my husband and I, but it felt quiet and homely. Our host was so friendly and gracious, and made sure we were comfortable. We even had homemade rusks waiting in the room, which was a lovely treat. The location worked well for us, close to all the amenities, and I’d happily stay here again next time I visit.

The staff were wonderful, and we enjoyed our weekend in Bela Bela. The room felt cramped and wasn’t arranged well, though, and the price didn’t feel justified. Breakfast was a letdown for what we paid: just eggs and bacon, very dry and basic, with no sausages, tomatoes, fries, patty, beans, or mince. I won’t be coming back.

The self-catering setup was comfortable, and the place had a peaceful feel. The owner went out of her way to welcome us, and the staff were so friendly. It really felt like a home away from home.

Just stopped over for one night. We were greeted warmly, and the room was clean, air-conditioned, and had fresh linen. There was a little TV with plenty of channels, plus a small bar fridge and coffee and tea. I’d recommend la Bella B&B.
