The unit was disappointing and needed a proper clean and some attention. Overgrown branches blocked the parking entrance, making the space unusable. Unit 267/8 is listed as a one-bedroom place, but it’s really a bedsitter or studio, and the online pictures give a misleading impression. At R1700 per night, the price is excessive. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were in Unit 253 Eagle, and it badly needs basic maintenance. It was extremely dirty, especially upstairs, from the bedding to the floors, table surfaces, and bathroom. Lights and plugs didn’t work throughout, including the braai and porch lights, and we got no reply after reporting the lighting problem. There wasn’t enough cutlery or crockery for six people, no outdoor bin, and no broom. Ants were in the cupboards, there were electrical and water leaks, the taps didn’t work, the drains were blocked, and rain came through the roof. The blinds were broken and wouldn’t open properly. I can’t recommend it.

There was so much to do that you hardly need to leave the park. We loved the pools and activities for the kids, and the game drives were excellent, with knowledgeable staff. The restaurants were great too. A wonderful family holiday, and we’ll be back.

Don’t book Unit 253 unless you’re prepared for a lot of problems. The bathrooms, sheets, and duvets were dirty; some plugs didn’t work, bulbs were missing, and the porch and braai area lights were out. When we contacted the person in charge, nobody replied or came to help. Rain poured through the upstairs bedroom roof and leaked onto the ground floor. Bring spare bedding, kitchen utensils, lighting, and cleaning supplies, especially a broom, since there isn’t one. Very disappointing.

Six women pensioners saved all year for a well-earned holiday at Kremetart, and the unit was a disgrace. Water backed up from the septic tank into the bath, the fans and TVs didn’t work, the door lock was broken, and we couldn’t lock the loft. The roof leaked in the rain. I hope the owner is proud of treating pensioners this way. At that price we expected something worthwhile, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone.
