Gateway Guest House

The people in charge are very efficient. The food is delicious, the property is beautiful, and everything is very clean. All meals are available, and the place feels homely.

April 2 to 6 As a family of 5, it is hard to find accommodation that meets all our needs and is affordable. Gateway Guesthouse met every requirement. The family room was comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the surroundings beautiful. Most of all, the hospitality stood out. It is clear that a lot of love goes into this place. Sister Isabel was wonderfully accommodating and caring, and even our children felt loved and cared for around her. I would highly recommend Gateway Guesthouse to friends or family who need a place to stay in the area. We will return to Durban with fond memories and sincerely thank you for a wonderful stay. Brian was welcoming, and the location was close to the airport. It was very peaceful and quiet, and the breakfast was good. We did find the decor dated, and the cleanliness of our room was questionable: the sheets did not smell clean, and there was dirt and hair on them.
