The rooms are roomy, tidy, and clean. Lindie is always ready to help with a smile, and the service and friendliness were the best I’ve experienced in a long time.

That “Ricoffy with a plastic spoon” feeling sums it up. The road noise went on all night, and inside, the bathroom drain smelled awful while the closet was literally falling apart. The whole stay felt like a bit of a train wreck to me.

The braai area was clean and easy to get to, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The staff were considerate and really friendly, which made it feel like a home away from home. We loved the whole stay and will come back, and recommend it to as many people as we can.

Getting no reply or even an apology after I reported the problem was properly poor. The air conditioning had stopped by midnight, leaving the room stifling on a very hot night. It had been 34 degrees when I checked in, and though I heard it come back on at 6am, I had already gotten up to drive to Cape Town. I’d returned from dinner around 21h30, when it was still working. I’d warned the property I might be late because I landed at 18h20 and saw check-in ended at 19h00, but they seemed to treat that as an inconvenience. I couldn’t sleep.
